I dont talk black or even dress black, but I listen to rap a lot, mostly Dipset and Jay Z, but I am very well knowledged about rap in general and its the main genre I listen to. I also play basketball and people say I play like I'm black all the time. Am I a wigger and if so is that a good thing?

You are NOT a wigger; if you don't wear the clothes, and take on the persona of a black person, you are not legitamately a wigger. Be thankful you're being true to yourself and others. Just keep on your way, and tell everyone else to push off because you start crackin' some skulls!

I do not think you are, that is just a stereotype. It is not bad nor a good thing to be a "Wigger" all a wigger is, is a white person trying to be black. You said that you do not dress, act, or talk like a black person, then who cares what others say about you. Tell them to mind their own business.

If you want to be a wigger, then it's a good thing, but on the other hand, if you don't like being called a wigger, then try to ignore it. You are not the only white person who appreciates rap and trust me, you are not the only white person who plays basketball. I personally don't like rap, but that's my thing. If you like to listen to it, then it's your thing. We all can't be the same.

I dont think you're a "wigger", I just think you're open-minded, and there's nothing wrong with that. I listen to all types of music, and my family makes fun of me sometimes, they even tell me I'm trying to be black, but I just dont want to limit myself to my culture. I want to be surrounding by other things, including music. If you like it, then listen to it. And a wigger is meant to be degrading. A wigger is not someone who just listens to rap, but rather someone who tries to act like the black people they see on television or in videos. Someone who really isnt who they represent, a fake wannabe.

Absolutely not. Why does the world feel its necessary to put a "label" on someone for doing something that they enjoy. This is beyond ridiculous . Why should you have to be a certain race to listen to a certain type of music...does it really matter...i think not!

People that feel the need to attach these type of labels on others, probably are jealous that they don't have enough balls to pull out and so something different.

No! You just like that type of music. As far as basketball goes, I don't think there is a way to play it black or white. It's just how you play...

Absolutly not. Why are people labled for dumb things like that. I live in a hick town, that doesn't make me a hillbilly, I grew up in a large city, and when people here were I am from they tell me I am a hillbilly. Stupidity I say.

I wigger is a good thing, it's not an offensive term, it's just a term for someone who is caucasian and has SOUL.

Not in my book! My 11 year old son absolutely loves rap and he's whiter than white! Enjoying another ethnicity's music doesn't change who you are - it just adds to who you are! God bless!
