I am?

You see, my Philosophy of Love professor told us that the opposite of Love is not Hate, but not caring. Sure Saddam Hussein did terrible things to people, but he did it because he *cared* about something. It was stupid and destructive, but not nearly as bad as I am by my old prof's measures. You see, I don't care. I don't care about much of anything. I don't expect to have kids ever, so I have no investment in anyone's future, not even my own. What I do is far more terrible because it doesn't evoke much of a reaction. Saddam is getting all sorts of attention now for his behavior, but me, my sort of evil just festers unnoticed, sucking the joy and caring out of people across the globe because they don't care about me and I don't care about them. It seems so fair and innocuous until you notice all the slavery, death, rape and a myriad of other evils that I'm ignoring and allowing to go on unchecked.

Good and evil really don't exist. There is no action that is good in all ways and vice-versa. Some might suggest Pat Buchanon as he uses Jesus for commercialism, something Jesus violenty protested. But then you have to accuse even the pope of the same infraction.

Then there is evil by intention and evil by ignorance. We pretty much ignore all the people dying of aids and starvation even though any of us could do something. But I don't think that makes us evil. They've got to earn the right to live just like we should. Then there is the bully who for his own thrill and confidence inflicts pain on others. He intends to be evil but doesn't do near the damage of the ignorant.

I'd say overall out of all world leaders it is between Kim Jong Il and W. W does way more damage but I believe it is because he is ignorant while Kim Jong Il is a bully.

I guess in this case evil is relative and what a choice! Is it a homegrown mass or serial murderer, child molester, elder abuser or financial fraud perpetrator, or maybe a terrorist (hey pick one of the hundreds or thousands), dictator, or religious extremist?

It's pretty scary when you actually stop to think about the plain evil person you could run into on a daily basis or may even KNOW.

WOW!

I think the most evil person today is the devil even though technically he isn't a person, more like a spirit. I still think he's the most evil of all.
