It depends on where you live. Actually, when I went to Asia from Chicago I flew westward, first to Los Angeles and then to Honk Kong. The phrase that Asia is the Far East is no longer valid.

For me its everywhere around me but then I do live in Asia but yes it is in the East as it's east of the Greenwich meridian which is the "0" longitute. 180 degrees or more would be west

YES! AND it is in the WEST! ...unless you're in Austrailia or Antarctica, South America or southern Africa... Other than that, go east or west far enough and your odds of hitting Asia eventually are pretty good.
