well I can't say I like these artists but I just was arguing with a friend of mine about it and he kept on telling me that there are absolutely no similarites in ther voices
what are your thoughts?

I actually think Avril Lavgine does sound a little like the Dixie chicks when she sings sometimes. They both have this little country accent sometimes when Avril sings. Yeah , your right!

I guess I can see what you mean, but I wouldn't really say that they are that similar. Avril did sing a Dixie Chick song, i stumbled upon the mp3....but Dixie Chicks sing it better.
