If the price of the textbooks were reasonable, i would buy them without any problems. but my degree contains history and politics (which means many books) and the books are on average £45. and whats worse is that the books are not for my full 3 years in uni but just for a semester. i guess i could just try to find the bk in the library and photocopy but the books are rarely found as they are in great demand.

I purchase through amazon market place. Just search on amazon.com (or co.uk?) and follow the link that says "used or new" next to the price. Have made significant savings already.

When you are done with your books you can sell them on again if you like and get some back for your next courses...

Try www.Campusi.com - if you know the ISBN number you can find it quickly... if not, have the title and author. You will be directed to a variety of different sellers that have your book along with their best prices. Select a seller who has at least a 4 star rating and a high success rate. I just purchased a $86 book for $1.50 (US) and it was exactly what I wanted. You might get them slightly or excessively used...but as long as it has all the pages intact!!!!

You can buy 2nd hand text books from amazon and also ebay.
Check the Uni notice boards as often lots of the students from last year will be selling their books.

It became loopy to prohibit Geert Wilders - no longer least because of the fact it gave him and his perspectives hugely extra exposure than would have took place if he'd in basic terms been allowed in as he have been before. i do unlike what he says, yet i do no longer think of he became any further in all probability to influence violence against Muslims than plenty that passes for easy remark (which I honestly have a tendency to disagree with). and that i agree that banners threatening violence could have been dealt with - the subject comes whilst coping with such incitement to violence spills over into action against Muslims who certainly are expressing a non violent view, only because of the fact the police/business enterprise do no longer like it. there is often that possibility. yet that's no longer, of direction, an excuse for no longer being business enterprise approximately threats of violence.
