"the Microwave" he came cold off the bench in the end of the 1st quater and warmed up the floor with instant energy i like to call him my floor warmer. he hit key shots to win many games, in fact he had a total of 195 buzzer beater, thats about as many buzzer beaters kobe has he was a part of the original bad boys for the detroit pistons, he has three rings and 5 6th man of the year awards. in his carrer he only had 150 starts. yet he avaraged more then 10 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assits per game. i think he was drafted 8th.

John Havlicek..in the 1970's
Kevin McHale...He actually played behind Cedric Maxwell before becoming a full time starter.
Bill Walton...the 1985-86 season only. Greatest back up center in history, for one year.

Steve Kerr and Vinnie Johnson were both the best "non-starters" in the league, although both started at various points in their career.
Presently, since Ben Gordon will be starting now, the best 6th man in the NBA is Corey Maggete, who techinally starts behind Tim Thomas, although he usually gets moved to SG and starts over Cuttino Mobley.

History, Vinnie Johnson. Present, Ben Gordon. Vinnie Johnson was automatic the second he left the bench. I wasn't old enough to see him play but I've read a few articles about him and they all say good things about him.

I gota go with my boy Lindsay Hunter. Intense D and can get the ball in the hoop. He does the little things right and it all adds up.
