affinity means to have an attraction for. Your hemoglobin change so oxygen will have an affinity for it when it is in the lungs(and will attach to it) so your hemoglobin can deliver oxygen to your tissue. Your hemoglobin changes again so oxygen will loose it's affinity and let go of the blood cell so your other body parts can have oxygen

D. More; less low oxygen affinity = heme group doesn't have strong attraction to oxygen. so it will be easily deoxygenated
