well first you shouldnt do anymore work for her. There really isnt anything you can do about the money she owes you unless there is a binding legal contract or if you have proof that she owes you money. for example a receipt for work completed. Then you would have to take the matter to small claims court if the amount owed is less than $500. You wont need an attorney for that you will just need to go to your local courthouse and file the papers.

Simple, you obviously signed a contract with her, right? Then the terms of the contract should discuss remedies for non payment?

You didnt sign a contract? Then you are screwed. Contracts are your friends.

write her a letter with signature confirmation and write her that you will sue her in small claim court if she does not pay by this certain date.

you can quit and find another one and then take her to small claims court and file for your salary plus court cost.
