ve a business, I would love to run it like Steinbrenner. He wants to win badly and he does whatever he takes to win. That's a great owner, and I admire that about him (still not a Yankee-admirer though). What do you guys think of George?

This reminds me of the glory days of the 49ers. Eddie DeBartolo spent the money to make a winner in San Francisco. Now with the new owner, he is too much a penny pincher. This owner reminds me of the days of Marge Schott when she tried to pinch pennies with the Reds. Now the scouting and farm system are in shambles and there hasn't been a winner in Cincy since the late 90's. I am hoping that the ownership continues to rebuild the Reds. We got a taste of what could be.

The dude..... just wasted his money on a bunch of loser. Millions and millions of dollars was just flushed down the toilet. If you want to think about running a business just like him well think again.

I dont understand it. Steinbrenner can fire whoever he wants, but no one can fire him. Of all people, HE should get fired. But as long as the Yanks are losing, it's fine w/ me.
