Need help fixing image in Paint Shop Pro!?

I use Paint Shop Pro 9 for my work. I took a picture that has a shadow over part of the image. Half the image is light and the other half is dark. How can I remove the shadow? I have looked for some tutorials online and others I've been too are now down. Does anyone out there now how to fix this easily? Thanks a lot!!!

Theres no easy way to do it. The best way is to use your clone tool and clone the lighter side over the darker side of the image. The alternative is to copy the lighter side and paste it over the darker side.
