The very first thing you need to do is talk to a loan broker.. there are loans for everyone, and every credit.. (before going out and looking for a place to live) the hard part of having bad credit is that your loan % will be higher. but don't get discouraged.. after buying your new place, keep working on your credit, in about 2 years you can refinance into a better %.. talk to the loan broker about all this, they are the pros.. also.. if you feel like you are not getting all the answers you want.. talk to more than one.. they get paid when your loan is accepted.. so its free to you until then.. good luck!!

Look into getting a good mortgage broker. They can work wonders. There are lots of great sub-prime loans out there. You will pay a higher interest rate so your payments will be a lot higher than it would be if you tryed to fix your credit a little before applying. Good luck.

Forget the banks and try a mortgage broker. They have access to many different lender that have options for all types of credit. It can't hurt to give one a call. Of course, it all depends on your credit and if you have any money to put down. I've seen 100% financing with a score of 560 and 95% down to a 520. Good Luck!

Good luck. Prepare to pay higher interest rates due to your problem. There are loans available however.
