Sometimes I think yes. I love the biblical reference to "the wife of your youth." Meaning you think your husband/wife is the most attractive (inside and out) thing you have ever seen. Now it seems completely normal to look at porn, troll strip clubs, and just disrespect one another.

No I dont think it is dead but what I do think is there is a lot of men out there that have no idea what romance is.

Only if your husband got you, puts you up high on the shelf, occasionally dusts you off, and gets you down a few times a year.
Get marriage counselilng. Tell your DH you want the fire back in your love. After many years, some men get too comfortable and forget about keeping the flame alive. After many years, some women get awakened sexually by their hormones and find they are married to a man who cannot satisfy their needs sexually and emotionally.
Most divorces after the age of 40 are filed by women who complain of unmet emotional needs.
