Some employers will. With others, it will backfire big time.

A female boss, in particular, will ask if you have any children. If you say no, she'll want to know if you plan on having any soon. These are not legal questions, by the way.

Other female bosses will simply assume that you have or will have children and will need maternity/sick leave for kids.

Wearing a wedding ring under false pretenses could be construed as lying in your job interview, too. They'd have to prove that you did it, but it wouldn't get you off to a good start.

It's better to just look professional in an interview and, if they ask about your future plans, do not mention marriage or kids. If they ask if that's in your future, tell them not for a few years. You want to build a career first.

i think that most employers take notice of a weddind ring, but not in any sort of judgmental way at all. i ftheydo, it is not the boss for you. ohter troule is likely to come up to, then.

I don't think your wedding band matters anything. only your performance, your involvement in work matters.
