fan, and I will love to see Mussina and Giambi on my team. But I completely understand that Randy, and A-rod must go. I also think Sheffield is too old. But Mussina should definitely not be on that list. He still got some great stuff. What do you guys think?

I DO CARE. IF THE YANKEES DON'T WANT MUSSINA, THE SOX SHOULD GET HIM. THE YANKEES WATCH THE SOX AND VICE-VESA. DON'T LIE, BOTH TEAMS CARE.

I'm a true Yankee fan and kudos to all who love "their" teams. I have to say, Johnson was already "damaged goods" when the Yankees got him ~ he definitely needs to go. And A-Rod needs to go too. With 3 seasons under his belt as a Yankee, he failed to produce anything at play-off time - doesn't matter what he did during the season! Everyone knows post-season efforts are what matters, especially if leads to the World Series! Steinbrenner AND Cashman needs to see that Yankee payroll needs to concentrate on pitchers. We may have one of the best line-ups but if our pitchers keep allowing opposing teams to get on base and score, it doesn't matter what our "heavy hitters" do because they are facing BETTER pitchers from the other team!! We can't let Mussina go but I agree about the other 4 mentioned in the Daily News. And for the rumors of Torre being replaced, that's wrong if George S. does that. He's a great manager and he can only succeed with what he's given ~ so George, spend your money on scouting and acquiring some pitchers who can bring the Yankees back where they belong...to the World Series!!

well, I don't think we need Giambi. Mussina would be a good addition to the rotation but the dude is a good pitcher but he's getting old and will start to get all these injuries like this year. The red sox of course aren't that loaded like the yankees. Most of there Big bucks are going Manny and Varitek. They need to learn how to spend there money good on those free agents that are out there. I hear Zito is out there on the market. But he is thinking abut going to the Yankees or somewhere on the west coast. I dont think the red sox are going to try to compete with the price. His new agent is Scott Boras. Yikes

i might say it does not ask your self me using fact he stated the possibility. yet another element is that the Yankees would have not been keen to offer him a deal that'd satsify him and he won't be keen to pitch for yet another team. the only section that shocks me is Mussina not desirous to make the rush for 3 hundred wins and 3,000 ok's. He has 270 wins and a pair of,813 ok's. If he have been wholesome, this is a few thing he ought to somewhat acquire as a Yankee in 2 years. he's rather on the fence of whether or not he will make the corridor of popularity so he may be apologetic approximately leaving the interest. in spite of the fact that, he's turning 40 and a few gamers only prefer to retire on the suited of their interest. there have been information Karl Malone would have beat had he persisted fiddling with the Lakers or yet another team, yet he chosen to retire as a exchange. in assessment to different spectacular Yankee pitchers like Clemens, Pettite, Wells & Cone, Mussina does not have a international sequence ring. it particularly is a few thing i understand Mussina needed. And as properly money, this is why the two he, Giambi & Matsui all got here to the Yankees. i will have faith all this as quickly as the Yankees be sure it or Mussina or his agent talks to the media approximately this. it is confusing to even have faith that with the finished Brett Favre saga we witnessed however.

Moose, Sheff, Torre, Randy, Wright, Pavano, should all go...If they re-sign Moose he is your 4th starter not an ace or even a top tier pitcher anymore...I want Matsuzaka, Schmidt, Zito, or Willis next season to go with Wang and Hughes...but Moose is old and doesn't come through in the clutch and should not have lost a 2 run lead...All my best to the Tigers on a great couple of games...good luck

I want to see Mussina stay and also A-Rod. Even though I get mad at him I am always rooting for him. He doesn't do much in the playoffs but helps us get there anyway.

I think (you asked) that it doesnt matter.

I also think that it really doesnt matter because all of that is moot.

And I really think that it doesnt really matter either way because The Yankees will NOT get #27 this year.

But that is only what I think.

Hey, send them all to the O's! We sure as hell can use them. All except for Johnson. Not high price talent, just high price.
