If you're talking about the long hallway battle in "Oldboy," I'd have to agree; that was a great scene.
HOWEVER...I think that, when it comes to fights, the Chinese filmmakers have the rest of the world over a barrel. Those flying-through-the-trees things they do with wires, etc., are pretty freakin' amazing ("Hero," "House of Flying Daggers," and the just-released "Jet Li's Fearless," etc.)
Another of my favorites: Bruce Lee's incredible underground battle in "Enter the Dragon." Dude must whoop about 1,000 guys, with fists/feet, then nunchucks, then a staff, then a couple of short sticks. Phenomenal.
For an old-school classic, take a look at Marlon Brando in the final scene of "On the Waterfront." I don't think any character ever absorbed a worse beating than Terry Malloy, and that includes de Niro in "Raging Bull."

what a coincidence, I just answered one question that Oldboy is one of the best psychological (you name it..) movies ever made.. and yes that fightscene is really incredible. A hammer in his hands sure can cause a lot of trouble
