If you are including beauty in a larger sense than just external appearances, I would have to include drugs.
Now, there is no doubt whatsoever that drugs can have many negative and very ugly effects. But because our society is so focused on that side of the coin, so to speak, we throw the beauty side out as well. Many cultures used to view drugs as instruments of the sacred -- I don't know, perhaps many still do -- and in todays society many people still have profound and life altering experiences through the use of illegal drugs. So there can be no doubt that many of these illegal drugs also have beautiful and profound sides to them. But our society has so thoroughly thrown that out that even saying that is considered taboo.
Another obviously would be gay relationships, as another poster mentioned. Though I have not personally experienced such, nor ever care to, judging from what others say these can be as beautiful and as meaningful as heterosexual relationships.
To a lesser extent I would include death. Obviously death is a very painful reality, if not the most painful reality. But our society is so focused on the negative that we don't provide means for people to take responsibility for how and when they would like to die. Dying can be a very spiritual process, but our society just sees it as an evil to be prevented by any means possible, and in doing so often does great injury, in my opinion, to individuals ability to die in a peaceful, loving environment and manner.
Obesity. God knows there are some extremely beautiful large women out there (can't speak for the mean), but our society views being overweight as a huge weakness of character, so these women invariably feel that self-loathing even when they are beautiful.
Oh, the list could go on, but I'll end there.

The love a young teenager girl can feel for her so called loverboy. He reels her in with dinners, golden gifts and endless luxury. It sounds almost unreal,he is so sweet for her.
Then he"gets " into lots of trouble. And she worries about him, after a little while she agrees to help him out having sex for money We all know :this is so stupid, but in the reality of that girl she is willingly and lovingly helping him,she doesnot know that his problems will never end:she does not realise:so here is one of many examples i can give you.Not pretty hey?Or is still pretty?Because she loves him?

Wild lands, like a field of wildflowers, before wal.mart paves it over to make way for a new store all in the name of "New Jobs", or a "Strong Economy".
