I have a Hyundai Tucson and someone gave me a set of rims from a Ford Mustang. The problem is when I put the rims on my car it makes a noise like the rims are hitting against something. The mustang is rear wheel drive and the tucson is front wheel drive. Would using spacers help the problem?

front wheel drive autos usually have an offset towards the outside (wheel center portion is towards the outer edge of the wheel rim) and rear wheel drive is usually in the middle or toward the inner edge so swapping wheels will cause tires/rims to contact the wheel well and sometimes the brake drum/caliper
