I don't know why you would want to make your vocals higher, because as a singer myself, I generally find the key I'm most comfortable with, and sing there. If you are hell bent to do this, I would be concerned about damaging my vocals.
Find where you are comfortable singing at, and take your vocals up to the sharpe of that key. Example: If you are singing in the key of A, take your vocal to an A# (sharp) and sing there for a while, and then take it up to a B, after you have sang till you have your voice broke in. Don't do this to start with, but work your way up until you have reached a D. Continue to work your way up the scale until you have gotten to the desired pitch. If if becomes too much of a strain, then back it down a notch. Also; singing scales is very good to expand your range, but do be careful not to hurt your voice, as you are putting it into the unknown area. If you can do this and do it for say an hour each day, then you should find yourself in a higher octive within a month or so. Some of the best singers in the world only sing in two octives, and never try to go higher. There are some exceptions that can sing in 3 octives!! This may sound a little crazy, but you will sound much better if you keep yourself in a pitch that is most comfortable for your voice. You will need to work the full scale, and this means singing the lows also, in order to expand your range to the higher pitch. I hope I have been of some help to you. Good Luck!!

There are two ways that I know of and they both go hand-in-hand. One, actually sit at a piano and work on your upper range, and two, drink warm water and eat a mint.

Don't talk too much. Stay quiet. Only talk when you are spoken to, and when you do talk, talk quietly. After a while, your voice should get higher.
