we met on the web (not through a sleazy chatroom; through this website, actually) and we started IMing each other over a month ago. But now she isn't responding to whatever I say to her through IM. What should I do?

leave her alone - she'll call you if she wants to talk - if you keep aggrevating her she'll be less likely to talk to you

whatever you do .. do not im over and over again asking why she is not talking to you .. keep it positive... and down to 1-3 a day till she answers

always send her complimenting IM's like do you know what a beautiful person you are.. lots of compliments .. sometimes i will at least say "ty" even if i do not really want to chat with that person... then it will wind up in to a full chat. Focus on "you" meaning her IM's not "I" meanig you IM's ..

EX. Do not say "i like you / I miss you" etc. say "your really nice"

Do not say things like "i know your talking to other people" make the chat so interesting she does not want to chat with another.

Ask to play a yahoo game..

Do not act desparate..act happy, interested, and casual ... listen and ask questions when she types .. whatever she types try to ask more to draw more info out from her. This will help the chat keep going. Let her do some typing and do not make a one way im relationship by running it or letting her run it .. it should flow like a good conversation..and avoid just basic yes or know questions those tire and do not involve much effort .. ask "what did you do today ?" "How was you day?" " How are you feeling"

I don't want to be rude, but it sounds as though she is not interested anymore, for whatever reason she has. I have been in that situation. Where I start talking to someone, have a connection at first and then just have it fade away. Its all part of life. My advice to you would be that she is probably not the girl you should be investing your time in, if she is ignoring you. There are a lot of other opportunities out there that could fly by while you wait for her. Let her know calmly, if you choose, that you do not want to wait for her and that if she won't respond to you, that you need to let it go.

leave her alone and give her space if she wants to talk she'll come around. maybe it's actually someone else on the computer and her messenger automatically logs on. my cousin used my messenger without me knowing it bc i had it where i didn't have to log in myself. alot of my friends thought i was ignoring them too. i found out when i was getting messages from guys that were wanting to see some more nude pics of "me"

A) You could wait and see if she hasn't just been busy, or accept that she doesn't want to talk to you anymore and move on. If you feel that y'all connected it could be that she's been busy or the account was stolen .... Had that happen to me.
