I have taken like 5 pregnancy test and keep getting a negative result, but I still feel very pregnant, sore breast, a little nausea not much, food aversions, fever, and I am burping a lot (don't know if that is one or not but it seems much more lately) and heartburn. I am not eating any different, nothing really has changed. I would like to be pregnant but I just don't know if this is normal. My last period was sept18-22 but, it was very light and abnormal for me, could it just be stress?

If your period was 9/18 then you should have ovulated 9/30 - 10-2. It takes the embryo 6 - 12 days(8-10 days being the norm) after ovulation to fully embed itself into the uterine lining. It is 2 days after this that your body begins to produce HCG which is the hormone that causes the nausea, headaches, mood swings, etc.... It is a possibility that you may have gotten pregnant but I believe that it is too early too tell. I was suffering some of the same things you are (especially the burping) last month and was certain that I had gotten pregnant. Aunt Flo finally showed up 17 days late! I guess I was so determined that I was pregnant the stress of trying to find out delayed my period. Sorry, you probably didn't want to hear that. I'm not giving up though, we'll try again this month! Good luck to you and all TTC'ers!

If your last period was very light, it could be implantation bleeding. I would make an appointment with your OBGYN to get a blood test. If you are pregnant, it could be that your hcg hormone level is too low to be detected on an hpt. A blood test will measure how much hcg is in your system, no matter how low the level.

You have early pregnancy symptoms, except for the heartburn - that is usually the last trimester when the baby is pushing up against your stomach.

Best wishes!!

If you think you're PG and you really wanna know, maybe you should consider going to a regular dr. and having a blood test done. Mine was like $20.00. Otherwise, I would say wait another week or so before taking another home test. The waiting is hard, I know. It sounds to me like you want this to be. I don't want to discourage you, but this happened to me a few years ago. I was 2 weeks late. I just knew without a doubt I was PG. I had every symptom imaginable. Eating a lot, heartburn, sore breasts, and even milk secretions. You name it, I had it. And man! I was blown away to find I was NOT pregnant. I think I thought I was b/c I wanted to be so bad. I hope it works out for you. :)

My best advice to you is to go to your GP or local Family Planning Clinic and get them to test you for pregnancy - their tests will be a hell of a lot more accurate than a home test (you're more likely to have a false reading on a pregnancy test if it says you're not pregnant) and as the symptoms you're describing sound favourable to the idea that you are pregnant, getting an accurate result as soon as possible is a good plan.

I hope you get the result you want!

could be stress or it could be pregnancy. if the tests are coming out negative and you still don't get your period by oct 23rd then i would suggest calling your doctor to make an appointment for a blood test. good luck!

if you are pregnant, you only concieved last week, and preg tests don't work until you are at least 2 weeks preg ie when your next period is due. Stop trying them for a week or two then try again
