How do I find an independent website designer?

I'd like to find someone to work with me in designing my website.

guru.com makes it pretty easy to find someone to do that.

Also rentacoder.com. Both are "meat markets" for programmers. As such, you're guaranteed to find some pretty bad workers, but you'll eventually find a GREAT coder.

why don't you design your own website it's easy on tripod.com
