Some babies just sweat a lot. Could it be that you are dressing him a little too warmly. I know you are cold, but if he is sweating then he is too warm. At night time try using just a plain sheet with a light receiving blanket and dressing him in a little lighter sleeper and see if this helps. You can also leave the top snaps on his sleeprs open to allow some air flow. A small fan in the room might help to to get some air circulating. Not directly on him, but across the room. My daughter is just like her Daddy and warm blooded and I am as my husband calls it a "Cold Fish"-hehe. I could never go by my temperature when dressing her and still can't. If after exhausting all these things and you are still concerned and he is sweating a lot then you may want to talk to the ped. I think as new Moms we have a tendency to overdress our little ones thinking they will be cold. Being too wamr can be a bad thing too.

One of my children has always sweat a lot. He's 5 now and still does. However, if you're worried check it out with your doctor or health visitor.
