I get frustrated yes, but I try to remember that I too was once learning the skill and art of driving. You should too.
Your question tends to make me think that you are one of the crazies who like to photograph the contents of my boot while holding a mobile phone conversation. No matter by how much I exceed the speed limit for the road, You want to go 3mph faster and be in front and dont seem to appreciate that road conditions have a bearing on the safe speed and distance between vehicles.
Please try and show more tolerance, and don't let your frustrations turn you into a bad and reckless driver. Be proud of your no-claims and see if you can keep it going for the rest of your life. It'll save us all a packet on insurance costs eventually.

You need to know why older drivers drive so slow, It's not that they have all day to go about their business, When you age your perception diminishes therefore you have to travel at slower speeds to interpret depth of perception, the human brain has a natural perception of a speed limit of 29mph anything over this and the brain is slow to react to the situation, older people are not confident at higher speeds, depth perception is the reason older people fall over, i am not old myself, but i have an understanding of the brain's perception. Please take this on board the next time you feel the need to horn blast some oap for having the audacity to be in your way!!

Yes I do, but then again, like many others, we drive along feeling isolated secure in our little mobile boxes, and then we grow horns and the devil takes over! Hence road rage is born.
Mind you there are some people who should NEVER in on the road any more, many of whom NEVER took a Driving Test, and can hardly see over the top of the steering wheels, and I am beginning to think that a medical and eye test should be made mandatory at a certain age, I am not being mean here, as I for one would probably have to hand in my licence, (eye sight!) but it would help clear the roads, and make them safer for a start1

OMG i got stuck 2 cars behind a learner earlier...the stupid tart in her 4x4 was right up the poor kids a*se and kept braking all the time. but i was getting angry coz we werent going over 20mph and part of passing ya test is being at the speed limit ie not slowing the other traffic down. the instructor should have been telling them to pick their speed up as we were going ridiclous slow. as for oaps i have mixed feelings about that as my grandma is 81 and is still driving and shes a wicked driver. but then i was driving down the M11 and some old bloke was in the middle lane doing about 55mph grrr. but no i dont feel bad over taking them coz they need to learn how to drive proberly!

I am very tolerant of learners but as for the old duffers..thats a totally different matter...What really annoys me is the 45mph merchant who drives at 45mph along the A roads and B roads but does not slow down in the towns and villages...they are either holding you up or speeding in the 30mph zones...

I dont relatively are available in the course of many horses the place i stay yet whilst and as quickly as I do i bypass away lots room because of the fact i specific dont choose it to get spooked and the rider to fall in front of my motor vehicle - i do the comparable with newbies - you on no account understand how lengthy the motive force has been discovering for, in the event that they are on their first few instructions then they are lots extra possibly to screw up so i stay properly back (as an occasion in basic terms in case they cant discover the splendid kit and decelerate without braking - its befell to us all as quickly as we've been discovering) - i additionally supply lots room to newbies because of the fact i hate absolutely everyone being suitable up my exhaust whilst i'm utilising, that's intimidating, so why would i do this to the different motive force obtainable no be counted if or not they're a learner or not??? If a learner stalls then so what - all of us stall from time to time so why get irate approximately it - sounding your horn purely makes them extra hectic and agitated so the extra you sound your horn the longer they take to head off. people would desire to be extra tolerant and affected person and instruct admire to each motive force on the line not purely newbies

I personally don't feel bad about it, what annoyed me when I learning was people overtaking inplaces where it wasn't safe to, so when I'm driving and catch up with a learner I keep back untill there is a point where I can overtake safely and not go too close

My heart sinks when I find myself behind a 'cloth cap' barely able to see over the wheel on a busy road with no overtaking and its a Sunday afternoon.

Not nearly so bad as I feel when a learner driver, an OAP - or a nun on a bicycle - overtakes me...! Especially a nun on a bicycle...!! Especially if she has the cheek to get off her bike and walk back to apologise...!!!
How humiliated can you get...???

I think you may have a bit of testosterone poisoning, and a tendency toward road rage.
Better cool it before you anger the wrong guy.
The slowpokes always catch up to you at the next red light, anyhow. And they use a lot less gasoline than you do.
I slow down on purpose when I see somebody like you behind me, just so that I can enjoy the angry looks on their faces.
