I have never heard of anything wrong with drinking water after you sing. But if you sing correctly you should not have a dry mouth after you sing or a strained throat. By correctly , I mean correct breathing from diaphram, jaw dropped, correct posture, and do not look up for any high notes.

It's OK to drink some tap water or water at room temperature. It wont destroy your larynx but it will sooth it after so much excercise. It is also better to drink some mild temprate water before you start to sing as it will give your larynx muscles a warmup.

It ok to do anything after you sing. A singer once smack his pianist after a song for messing up with some notes.
