I am welsh and live in Cardiff. The language itself was on the brink of dying out until recently when they decided to make it compulsory for everyone to learn Welsh up to the age of 16 (GCSEs). This means that the culture is very much alive and kicking with strong signs of this particularly in the media and stations such as Radio Cymru and S4C. These are developing further as Wales heads towards the digitalisation which will be taking place in 2009.

Cardiff's great for a night out. Don't get there very often as I'm from North Wales but manage a few trips to the rugby each year. In fact I'll be there in November and we have an executive box - I'm very excited!!!

I am Welsh. Cardiff looks a mental place to go, according to one documentary.

Not Welsh and if you have the likes of Glynn from Big Brother living in Wales you can keep it!

He gave Wales a very bad name!

Well in my view he did anyway!

They said he went on a journey no the only journey he went on was a journey of loving and over dramatising Wales!

Yeah, I think so. If you cross the border into a country called Wales, you'll find several million people called 'welsh' people.....

not entirely sure i think london is better.
im welsh and live in london and my whole family go out in 'diff and all think its great i feel more unsafe there than in london which is vast and lots to do!
although london is sooo much more expensive, you cannot go there on a saturdday night without having £100 in your pocket for taxis drinks, entry into places etc etc!
