right here in Britain not lots. The British from the time of Queen Boudica on, had spent lots of their time the two plotting against Roman rule or taking place the march to duff them up. Queen Boudica's British military, comprising the would of the Icani and Briganties armies, smashed their way via 2 Roman Legions [wimps], burnt the garrison of Colchester to the floor, shoved 2000 Romans into the temple there and set it ablaze. The massed ranks of the British Celts then marched on London. God help any Romans there. Boudica's British military killed each and every dwelling element in the city, adult males, females, infants, canine, cats etc. They bumped off each and all the treasure and valuables they needed alongside with livestock and pigs etc then set hearth to the city of London and burnt it to a crips. in case you dig down 30 feet everywhere in the city of London as we communicate, you come back to this charcoal layer - the continues to be of the unique Roman London. fortunately the Brits controlled to kick the Romans out of england in the fourth century advert - bunch of spix. The King of england, Vortigern, invited the Saxons in and something is historic previous.. Wales invariably and Celtii bew [the dwelling Celts] demise to Rome.

Built some great roads that we still use today.

Unfortunately, when the Romans left Britain, they took all their knowledge and expertise with them, so the natives were unable to maintain and develop the buildings, etc.

Dont forget our alphabet. They didn't "invent" it, but we use the same, basic one they developed. Much of the Western world still use it because the Romans brought it to the world.
