Its a good useful tool for general knowledge. But since it is user maintained you are best off using it at a general reference and finding other sources to confirm specific facts.
But for a quick compass on where to get started it is pretty good. Just remember to verify what you read.

Yeas it is as, Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia that is the product of collaboration of its users, has become a major force on the Internet, but faces a crisis after a false biography raised questions about its credibility.
The website, created as a free, "open source" multilingual encyclopedia for the world, has reached a crossroads after phenomenal growth along with a scandal that has forced the site to tighten up monitoring of its content.

It is maintained by the user community therefore there are inaccuracies in it however it does offer a excellent source of information the legitimacy which can be confirmed by careful googling. In other words a good place to start but taken it as 100% accurate.

Well, I wouldn’t say that wiki is 100% correct information as it is maintained by users like you and I. Anyone can make mistakes and hence you wouldn’t always find the correct info. but this doesn't means that wiki is a bad reference site. There are many users who dedicate their precious time in correcting the wrong info. You can refer wiki whenever you need to, and if your are doubtful, you can always refer the net. I myself have been using wiki for years now. Personally, I do trust wiki.

For general information about stuff, yeah it is a nice source. However if you are writing a scientific article, you cannot put references from wiki, it is not acceptable.
So not 100% trusted but useful
Peace

Not really. ANyone can write an article or post information onthere. I don't really trust it, but some of the articles I've seen check out, so, you just have to double check on it.

I would say "informative", but not necessarily "trusted" or "reliable."
