The only way to delete everything off a writable CD (CD-R) would destroy the data, but would not allow you to write to it again. So you might just as well throw it away. Thankfully modern CD-Rs are so cheap it doesn't really matter.

If its a CD-RW then you can wipe the disk and re-record

If its a regular CD then, NO..not without destroying the CD.

Break it, shred it, a little more subtle is to leave it face down in the sun. A microwave is a good way to destroy it - but dont do it it is very dangerous! Best is to snap the CD in half (watch for bits)!

Put the cd in the drive: Open my Computer. Click on the CD drive and you should get an option 'Erase this CD'. Otherwise click on each item and 'delete'...............

only if it is a CDRW (rewriter) disk. Which is specially formatted to erase and reuse.
