Please tell me which rig you are on so I can get as far away as possible!
the electric motor in the sander will cause sparks and if you are in a hazardous area in which there is a risk of a gas explosion then you will be the first to find out how dangerous it is

I used a 9" angle grinder all day yesterday on our rig and it only caused a minor explosion.

We still have 3 leg s on the rig so I think its safe.

Carry on.

Besides, we're all for the chop soon anyway, now they have opened the Norway gas line.
