Liberals won the American Revolution. Liberals created a free public school system. Liberals won WWII. Liberals created Social Security, Liberals created a fair work environment for the average American worker. Liberals started the National Forest system of parks that you enjoy so much. Liberals brought the war in Vietnam to an end.
Open your eyes. Conservatives built the American industrial might and the national defense. Liberals did most everything else. That's why they are both important.

That's right, silly protest marches, like the ones that brought an end to the carnage of the Vietnam War, like the 'million man march' which brought about civil rights for the Afro-Americans.
Perhaps you like seeing young men flying home in body bags, and want a return to slavery?

Well its kind of difficult to have much influence when the GOP is head of the house, the senate and the presidency. But the GOP has done a lot of good in there tenure... WAR, WAR, WAR... They have killed nearly 3000 of our men and women in the service for abolutley no reason! GO GOP... yeah right.
Vote anything that will dismount the GOP from power... only then will we truly understand diplomacy and peace; I am sorry to tell you republicans out there, but peace is not a result of war!

do you mean since the magna charta, declaration of independence, bill of rights, constitution, virginia statute for religious liberty, the end of slavery, the end of jim crow, the end of child labor, the end of 12 hour, 6 and 7 day work weeks, the creation of the weekend, health care for more and more, comfortable retirements, the protection of the natural rights of gays, womens, children, standards for securing decks to houses, standards for cleaning up drinking water - i'm tired - you mean what have liberals done since then or what????

There is a lot to be proud of protesting against fascism. While you will cheer on a fascist government to the end, turning yourself into one as well, and eventually informing on your neighbors for not being "patriotic" enough.

Yes, they have done much to be proud of. Our high school students can't read, but that's okay, cuz we'll put them on our ever increasing welfare program, that is as long as they vote democrat. They are proud that they still back a program that is clearly racist and promotes discrimination called affirmative action. They actually have the minorities believing that the only way they can compete with the white man is to give them a head start. Yeah...much to be proud of.

Civil rights, woman's rights, health care.
Oh yeah, those things aren't what's important, its war, oppression of non-white/non-christian people and destruction of the middle class. those are much better goals.
