Is it possible I burnt out the fuse wire? I pulled apart the connector, but it doesn't hold a fuse. Just a male/female connection. Its a 97 lebaron. Thanks!

What does this fuse go to? Does all the other items work?

Sounds like a fuse is blown. Some fuses will appear good when they actually are blown. This is expecially true with the ole type glass fuses. They will burn out up inside the metal and you can't see it. Use a ohm meter to check it out. Good luck. Pops

I'm not very clear on what you are describing. If you had a short, then the fuse should have blown. That is, unless the fuse was so much bigger than the line it was protecting. You didn't do that did you? If you had a short, and all the fused lines have stopped working, then you may have blown a fuse on the pole outside your house. The system protects itself from homes that endanger the electrical pole's integrity.

Sounds to me like you burned out a Fusible Link. It is a section of wire that acts like a fuse.
It needs to be replaced. Replace it with the exact same amperage rating. Cut out the old fusible link and splice in a new one. They can be found at your favorite local auto supply store.
