The kind of behaviour you describe has been put into action before. Look at the following statement by one of the most evil men to walk this earth and then compare it to those "patriots". You'll see a clear line of thought running from the past to the present.

“…the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.” - Hermann Goering at Nuremberg on 18th April, 1946

A fascist country may not be far in the offing.

libs learn 50 cent words and think they understand the issues. they rant and rave like lunatics while . Conservatives protect and run the country. When Dumbocrats are in control the enemy can relax regroup and plot our demise. Also white house workers actually are required to have sex not read about it. And New Orleans was a Dumbocratic run city in a blue state right? Is that how you want the country to be run and its people protected? The Levies weren't reinforced because environmentalists (liberals)wanted to protect marine life, aquatic life and fowl from the work. And people died.

Complete militarism? Nothing out my window yet. They're against the arts? I hadn't heard that either. Art scene in Dallas still going strong. Is this the scare tactic of the left?

You may be right.

I am PROUD to be a liberal. If anyone thinks I am the enemy than they are dilusional. The real enemy are those who have forgotten the Constitution and feel that we need to start wars to protect business interests.
