You have to get a contact exam before they will write you a prescription for contacts. It is a little different than a glasses eye exam. It is usually around $80 for the exam at Wal-Mart. Then you could buy Acuvue-2's. They are disposables which are good for 2 weeks. They come with 3 pairs in a box and are about $17 with tax. Good luck!

That seems like a very big situation, just go to wal mart at the 5th counter and you'll see contacts like aboyt $50 to $95.Plz choose my answer as the best because that the right place and price.

I go to a Wal-Mart optometrist too! Well you SHOULD get contacts!!!They are sooo worth it!!! It doesn't matter what kind you get really, just some are better than others. You can get the cheapest kind there is.(about $15-$20)
I use 02 Optix(about $30-$40).

An exam is required to get contacts because there are different sizes and fits for contacts and only an eye doctor would be able to tell you which is correct for you. And there are some people who are unable to wear contacts, and a doctor would be able to tell you that too. Even if you ordered contacts online, you'd still have to provide a prescription from your eye doctor before they would fill your order.
