Look at the credits: 90% Japanese. Those people make the deepest, most beautiful films ever. Movies like this could never be created by the West! Japanese way of thought is just amazing!

I really enjoy all of these wild martial-arts flicks ("Hero," "House of Flying Daggers," "Jet Li's Fearless," etc.), but my all-time favorite would have to be:
TAMPOPO (1987), which I believe was billed at the time as "the first Japanese Noodle Western"...!
