Signs of a miscarriage include vaginal bleeding, abdominal, lower back, or pelvic pain, or passing of tissue from the vagina. Bleeding may be light or heavy, constant or irregular. When bleeding is accompanied by pain, the likelihood of miscarriage is high.

The main symptom is of course bleeding. If you are bleeding it doesn't necessarily mean you have had a miscarriage but it is a sign. You would also have some pretty severe cramping as your body tries to abort the baby. If you think you have had a miscarriage or there is a problem you should get to an ER ASAP!!! It's about the baby's health...if you are fine great but you would feel better getting professional help and making sure.

Extreme abdominal pain - like severe period cramps (if you've ever experienced these) and/or bleeding (which doesn't necessarily have to be heavy - any sign of blood at all). If experienced - immediate medical help should be sought - A&E.
Having said that, even if you are/have experienced this, you may not necessarily lose the baby if you seek medical help - fast.
I do hope you are not personally experiencing anything like this.
Best wishes.

If it is really early there may not be a symptom yet. But if you are bleeding and have severe cramps go to the ER

Cramping and bleeding. But only your Dr can tell you for sure. The bleeding is generally pretty heavy, and similar in consistancy to a period.

When I miscarried, I was spotting very lightly, and had no cramps. I did this for 5 days, then lower back pain. When I went to the ER, no pains , no cramps, and then I coughed and miscarried.
