i don't care the least bit. I seldom get something yet direct mail, and that's purely a waste of money and timber. If I deliver a kit, there is not any way i'm sending it by making use of way of USPS; they are sluggish and unreliable, and issues are misplaced or broken on a often happening foundation. so a strategies as i'm in touch, we are able to do away with the placed up place of work thoroughly. i will carry on with united statesor Fedex and digital mail. The postal workers and their union needed further and extra money for doing much less and much less, and theory that they had be indispensible; they priced themselves out of jobs, and that i say stable riddance to undesirable rubbish.

No, there is no mail DELIVERY service today, except for Priority and, I believe, FedEx. However, some pickups are still being made and the people who sort/process your mail are working, so it is NOT a "day of slack" for most of the USPS - just the carriers and the desk clerks! :-)

NO; Banks, the US Post Office, and most government offices are closed on Columbus Day, in October, every year.
