What by Wednesday? I think that`s asking a lot of the Boy, but I have every confidence in him coming good, It might help him if people were to get off his case. He is not the only England Footballer that is playing badly.

Rooney is over hyped, over rated, over indulged. He had the makings of a potentially great player. But he was stifled by the premature brouhaha about him. He has nothing to offer right now but childish tantrums, below par performance and an avalanche of red cards.
The media and fans need to get off his case by desisting from making him think that he is the best thing that happened to the world of soccer and planet Earth at large. And allow him mature into the player he can be. Or he will never get there.

Why are we so dependant on Rooney, Ferdinand was injured and Ledley king did a very good job replacing him and i'm sure there are players out there who could do the same replacing Rooney...permanently I hope, give youth a chance the under 16s could have done better than that shower last Saturday

I don't think so. whilst Rooney is talented and very enthusiastic
his play is still sporadic and he still gets easily frustrated.
When he can control his play I feel that he will become a better team player. This will come I'm sure when he is a bit older and learns to channel his natural enthusiasm in the right direction.
I think it is therefore going to take more time for him to regain his form.

Rooney is not very good to start with, but he could shape up. I play soccer, and have had 3 games in 1 day (90 minute each). I did better in the seconds than the first, and better in the third than the second. We had 10 minute break between each!!!!!

just wonder why everyone seems to treat rooney like a 'god'. If a team depends on 1 player, it should not be called a team at all.

I doubt so. Since the next game would be away against Croatia.

If England is depending on Rooney then they are screwed!

at the beginning of the full dam group palyed like **** interior the international cup i became embarrassed i had a dam great britain international cup shirt on. usa and algeria? are you severe? and ya we could continuously drop him and replace him with who? you possibly? dont say stupid issues except you fairly have a answer in concepts. ya shall we drop the full group and merely watch the grass strengthen! in the journey that your going to propose the dropping of one of our ultimate gamers in line with risk let us know who has comparable stats as him? hes as solid as he's via his length he can muscle human beings off the ball truthfully maximum forwards dont have that weight at the back of them. and that i take it spain could drop torres to because of the fact he didnt score on the international cup the two? i assume because he wasnt on his a interest for that tournament in line with risk dying penalty? that sounds solid
