Just revived one of my computers and when i turn it on, it logs on and everything but few minutes after it logs on it freezes. I restarted computer and quickly ctrl alt delete to see if it was hack related but instead i noticed that the "system idle process" CPU was 99, i think this is what causing it to crash, i also notice that the red life on my desktop is always on.

Anyone know the solution so i can get my computer up and running?

Check to make sure your CPU fan is running. Also any other cooling fans on the case and in the power supply... make sure they're not obstructed and operating. If the computer consistantly freezes or locks up after a few minutes, it could be a heat issue and a fan may no longer be working.

When it freezes, does any of the display distort? If so, it could be a video adapter issue.

System idle isn't going to cause your computer to lock up. That is the state your computer is in when it's not doing anything.

The red LED on your computer is usually connected to the motherboard to indicate HDD activity. If it's always on, it may be incorrectly attached.

I'd check your RAM, see if you have a bad module. A lot of pc's will show what you have right after you turn it on. -in kilobytes I think.
