It depends on your physical condition. Yes, the normal resting rate is 60-100, but that is for the average population. Those with lower rates can be athletes (because their heart pumps blood more efficiently) or people who are less stressed and relaxed. I have tested athletes who have been 30-40 bpm.

Resting???? A normal Heart Rate is 60-100bpm....unless you were running or doing cardio, then it is expected to be on the high side (normal though), if you were sleeping and your hr was 50, then that might be ok, do you take BP medication?
