Weight in Kg divided by squre of height in meter gives us Body Mass Index. It more reliable criteria for assesment of under-nutrition n obesesity
BMI Weight Status for adult
Below 18.5 Underweight
18.5 – 24.9 Normal
25.0 – 29.9 Overweight
30.0 and Above Obese

however BMI is really a poor method.

It's much better to measure body fat percentage. If you are muscular then a BMI chart will show you as to fat or Obese when you really are not.

Go for a 6 to 13% for men and 14 to 20% for women
