My best friend quit school because she is pregneat she thinks she's going to be able get a good job pay for college pay for a house take care of the baby when it gets here and all the other joys of having a kid lol but... she won't listen to anything i say does anyone have any advice?

my advice to you... support your friend and her decisions. It is not easy to take responsibility for your actions and hey some people do become successful no matter what life throws at them.

As much as you may love your best friend, sometimes the best adivce is no advice at all. She has already started on the dowonward spiral by dropping our of school. School is the key to any decent job, I don't know how she thinks she is going to make if for herself and her child without an education. It sounds like you have given her some good sound advice, now just be there for her as a friend when she needs you. Be careful not to neglect yourself and your studies.

Is she is high school? If so how does she expect to get into college with out finishing high school. She will also have to buy clothes food and diapers for this infant. This is quite expensive and with out a degree she will not be able to get a good paying job. Make sure she realizes these things.

well i guess she will have to figure that out on her own. I quit school when i was 17 and got pregnant when i was 18. When i turned 7 months pregnant i got my high school diploma and now (8 1/2) months pregnant....i am enrolled ion college for a career. My point is maybe she will come to her senses further along in her pregnancy.

Your friend sounds stupid. Sorry to offend but the truth is she was dumb to get pregnant and drop out of school. No school, no job better the min. wage and you can not raise a kid on that. Unless you live at home and live off welfare.She needs to get a GED and then get to some kind of college, or tech school. Get the stupid piece if paper so she can get the kind of paying job to support her child.

How sad. Where are her parents? Or even your parents? Maybe a trusted adult could help both of you. It is great that you want to help your friend! Keep trying. Adoption could also be an option if she wants to finished school and go to college. Kids are expensive and anyone who says differently is either lying or doesn't have a clue.

you would be able to desire to purpose to get them to stay in school, because of the fact quitting college isn't a good selection because of the fact she wont be qualified for many roles contained sooner or later. Or if that fails in basic terms attempt to make some new friends

Buy her some "JD" or Southern Comfort. The only way she can save herself now is if she downs the complete bottle within 10 minutes. Otherwise, well her life's over anyways. 65 years of work at McDonald's isn't much of a life either so she might as well just down BOTH BOTTLES, and don't forget to share with the newbie!

Let her know how you feel.....If she doesnt listen then all you can do is accept her decision and be there for her.
If it is a mistake she will have to learn from it. Also just because she might drop out of school it doesnt mean she wont goto college be successful etc

Maybe you could find some girls that quit school because they are pregnant & are now sorry they did so. If there is an organization in your community like Planned Parenthood they could probably help you make contact with these girls. Good luck!

whatever you tell her shes probably not going to listen my little sister is the same way but shes a trust fund baby so she really will be ok for a while.
me i quit school and no i dont regreat it because i got lucky and i talked my way into a good job.but if you dont have good social skills and if your not a good lyer :) yes you will bomb in life.
