According to an article I read somewhere, the Ford Focus was the gayest car on the market, based on the percentage of out, gay men who owned one, I think. Which begs the real question: Don't these researchers have something better to do?

Not sure what "gay needs" you are referring to, but unless you have like 4 arms, any car will do!

surprisingly i went on a search for this question and i found that other people ask the same question here what other G&L suggested as thier choice cars
http://www.cartalk.com/content/features/Gay-Lesbian/letters-6.html
and since the UK's Gay.com wrote an artical on the topic ... called gay car of the year
http://uk.gay.com/article/4360
in my oppinion i suggest you think about a car that looks nice and take a look at www.CarDomain.com for customization. that way you can add and subtract what ever you need

Have you ever seen a straight man drive a VW in the United States? Not in the last decade anyway. Their commercials have been so gay friendly they might as well show the men 69ing each other in the back seat...
Likewise Subarus and Jeep Libertys for lesbians...

I know there are "gay friendly" coporations out there, but there aren't a lot of cars tailored specifically to Gay People. However, there are things you can do to "Gay it up". Rainbow bumper stickers, disco balls from the rearview mirror, etc.
