There is actually nothing to say about it, but there is something you can do about it. Usually when a teen makes statements like this there is something missing in their life or there is to much going on in there life. Some times school can be overwhelming for some teens with peer pressure or that they just don't like school. There are guidance counslers who would be more than happy to assist a teen in what ever is bothering them. To state that they would rather be ran over by a car leads one to believe that the teen should seek some sought of help. Whether it be a friend or an adult that they trust, if they can't talk to their parents.

All I have to say is two possible things HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

OR

How fast is the car going?

If it was 100 MPH straight on then LOL

Is it was 1 MPH on just the tip of their TOE then that would be a good idea.

I have no choice but to agree with them, the only way that they would learn how easy they have it in school is to find out how crumby life is when you have to work full time. School is like vacation time.

I would suggest the teacher to use a different teaching technique, because the student has lost interest.
