sociology is a social science concerned with the study of societies and how they function and reflects the use of scientific method and statistical data to determine how they function. History is a study of past events which are interpreted by historians based research and available material. History is not scientifically approached and relies a great deal on the skill of the historian to make the interpretation from the available fact.

Both are similar and different. Sociology is about the study of human societies and history is the study of past events- both are concerned with the political, economic and cultural changes in human societies so they coincide in some ways.

Im not exactly sure but sociology is the study of interactions and relationships between people and psychology focuses on the minds of people as individuals and as a whole.. but either way you might need math because of the use of statistics involved in both areas of study

History is a graph of our sociology. The way we were and the way we are becoming. It is a moot question in some ways. In others you must understand human behavior in general terms. The Ego, Super Ego, and the ID. and it's interaction with other Selfs.
