The guy is the best all-round quaterback we have seen in a long time. He fits wells into the west coast system, at the same time can go for the long ball. He scrambles well when needed. He might not be the most accurate passer, but has superior football IQ than most "gunslingers". The offensive weapons he has aren't great. Philly hasn't had a dominating running game in his time. His best receiving weapon is LJ Smith (TE). Why is it so hard for people to give him props? Is it because he doesn't fit the stereotype of a black athlete?

P.S I am not an Eagles by the way. Ried has overused McNabb and that has caused him to be injured so often.

L. J. Smith leads Philly in number of reception, He is second leading receiver in terms of yards. Does that satisfy you?

And by the way he leads all TEs in the league in receiving yards.

Where you get your stats from?

He has had a bunch of chances to win a big game and consistently came up short. Same thing applies to Jim Kelly, who was a top flight QB in the early 90s, but will never get the highest level of respect for not winning the big game.

Since Kelly is in the Hall Of Fame, then McNabb can certainly expect to be as well.

I don't think the "race issue" in sports is as relevant as some people make it. Fans don't care if a player is black, white, purple, orange or red.....they just want championships.

I am an EAGLES fan and the reason Mcnabb is underated is becouse of losing 3 NFC champ games then the Super Bowl I won't deney that I booed and cused a storm, my dogs ears still hurt, when they drafted him,I wanted Cade Mcknown(whew glad I don't make the picks), but am totally satisfied with Mcnabb since season 2. His injuries he only missed a half of season you friggn idiot other than that he was a pro bowler you gotta be a giants fan with scardy cat ELI oh don't hit me i'm a manning PFSSSSST

I am not an Eagles fan at all, but would have to say Donovan is the early favorite for MVP.
