I'm interested in inventive suggestions of what could be done to shut them up!

Well, I've no idea who Lily Allen is anyway, so it makes no difference. But....
1) avoid them
2) switch off / change channel (this applies to TV)
3) switch off / change channel (this applies to radio)
4) visit no venues where they are appearing
5) offer money to an underworld type knuckle dragging individual to either 1: persuade them to desists from whatever they do. 2: remove their presence and 'retire them' (cough cough) from the scene they inhabit.
Beyond that, I think I have visited all possible options! Sorry i can't be of any more use here.

extremely .... now that i think of roughly it Scissor Sisters sound remarkably similiar on maximum of their songs to the Bee Gee's ... thinking the history they have risen out of its now common to confirm why. Bee Gee's form dance has been a staple in those golf equipment for years and that i'm confident the Sisters could agree they draw heavily from that vibe.

Lilly Allen makes me cry-yeee yeeee - what a horrendous song - how could anyone think that singing in that fake/dodgy estuary/street accent could be entertaining? The woman is talentless.
