Oh poor you Nick, listen a lot of these lotions and potions do nothing, in fact some antagonise the problem. Go to the doctors asap and get some cream/tablets from them they can give you something which will work, sometimes you could have a little infection that needs clearing up with antibiotics, so go and see what the doc says. In between times keep washing you face with hot water and plain soap (white unperfumed) do this every time you go to the bathroom, keeps the grease down and the spots at bay. Listen honey all will work out, it happens to us all honestly take care

Remember that noone else will think your spots are as bad as you do, so try and be rational about it. Talk to your parents about how you feel before you do anything to hurt yourself.
There aren't really any quick fix solutions, because pimples are caused by so many different factors - diet, exercise, hormones etc. You should see a dermatologist who should be able to reccommend the right treatment. Your probably aggravating the spots by using so many different creams, so perhaps lay off that.
A long term solution is a drug called Roaccutane, not to be taken lightly though and not suitable for everyone. I took and it changed my life so much for the better! It is reported to have some pretty bad side effects so you need to do plenty of research into the possible side effects, I luckily had nothing. I went from being a hermit who wouldn't leave the house because I hated my skin so much, to getting confidence and personality back after taking this stuff for 6 months. Only dermatologists can prescribe it, or suggest less drastic treatment like antibiotics etc so it so definitely go and see one as soon as you can. There are worse problems than pimples around so please don't get so down about it.

Hi there is a way ahead for you. There is a cleansing plan that works beleive me. First of all wash with a a good exfoliating wash, then use a spot removal cleanser, dab your face dry with a clean towel. Apply oxy 10 to the spots until it has disolved into the skin. Wait for that to dry in the use a moisturiser to stop your face drying up. Please beleive me do this twice a day for 2 weeks and you will see an amazing difference. Your stressing out is just bringing on more spots. I suffered from spots and still have the odd outburst (due to stress) but if your confident about yourself, people will not even notice them. Unfortunatley it's part of growing up. Good luck and all the best.

Hi.
have you considered going to your dr? there are certain meds that can work really well with drying up skin glands and stuff so you are less likely to get spots - the prescription skin care stuff is much stronger so you should get better results - there are also tablets that doctors sometimes use. Tell your doctor how low your spots are making you and if he feels it's necessary then he may send you to a dermatologist (skin care doctor).
Hope this is some help - gd luck!

This is only a temporary thing, they will go away, what you need to do is go see your doctor and tell him how desperate you feel, don't be shy, doctors have seen everything and by the time he sees the next patient he will forget you, also drink plenty water it helps the complexion, eat lots of fresh fruits and veg. Maybe a steroid cream will help, but you need to get this from a doctor, don't give up, one day you will look back and think what was that problem.

Hi, firstly don`t worry no matter how bad they look to you your friends and family will still love you, and not be bothered by them. However having known someone in the same situation I can only advise you to see your doctor, who will hopefully refer you to a dermatologist. They will not clear up overnight, so you need to be patient. If the derm believes it to be right for you then he can prescribe Roaccitane, which over a period of months will gradually improve your skin. This drug has it`s own risks, which you will need to discuss with your parents. You can help the process by drinking plenty of water, eating healthily IE fruit and veg each day. Get enough sleep and cleanse your skin a.m and p.m and after sports etc. Spots are not caused by poor hygiene, eating chocolate etc, they are caused by genetics...however you can help your skin to recover by looking after it as above. GOOD LUCK...remember you are not defined by your spots.

Buy a straight bottle of witch hazel from your local store ( walmart carries it) its the strongest acne fighting remedy and ingredient in acne medications and creams.
If you dont want to go to your Doctor.. then check out some Astringents ( contains witch hazel also).
or some Cover up/ concealer... Before the big day... Its a quick cover up if you dont have any time to mess with it.

My brother used to suffer with bad acne as a teenager. He went to the Doctor about it and the Doc prescribed some tablets which helped to clear the problem. Please don't suffer in silence. Sharing how you feel with a close friend or family member my really help.

First of all, relax. Acne is a drag...but remember that everything in life is temporary, including acne. OK, we have found that Solodyne is pretty good for acne. Also, get a Zeno device. Both are available at your dermatologist. You need to hang tough, because it WILL get better, I promise!!

Go to the doctor's they can prescribe medication for acne and topical treatments that will clear this right up. Don't worry, you aren't alone, loads of people suffer with acne. Just get yourself down the doctors, and because of your age you will get it for free! Also it will be confidential!
Good luck.
