You could try acting like a mature person.

However, have you stopped to think that maybe one of the reasons he likes you is because you are a year-and-a-half younger than him?

If it's really bothering you, talk to HIM about it, not us!!

When one person of a couple goes to college and the other is in high school, it's very hard to keep the relationship. He's now interested in the college life and the kids that go with it. That's just what happens as people grow and mature. Even if you are a mature individual, you're still in high school. You need to let him go. If you two are meant to be together, he'll come back to you. But don't cling to something thats out of your control.

You need to talk to him and explain how you are feeling and make sure you don't do anything that makes him treat you like that. I know that age can sometimes play a role in the realationship I know this because I am 22 and my boyfriend is 27 and he always treats me like an adult. If your b/f doesnt stop treating you like a kid and it starts to make things bad maybe you two should take a brake and make sure that a realtionship with each other is what you really want.

Show your stuff how big they are and he may agree that you are also a matured person (lol).

Hi just behave in a matured way, don't be like kids all the time. It may make him feel that you are matured. Moreover, he is just 1 1/2 years only older than you, infact, he is Kid when compared a girl at your age.

maturity cannot be based upon the age of a person. It doesnt mean that the older you get, the more matured you are. If you want him to see you as a matured person, then you should act like one. Be yourself then later on he will come to realize that you are no longer the giggling high school girl he makes of you.

he's not that much older. But don't try to be older or cooler or "more mature" be you and if you is 1 & 1/2 years older then be that and have fun.

PS- not that big of a problem

You know what, its not that big of a difference. Girls tend to mature faster than boys sometimes so who knows? your maturity level might be the same as his. As for the college/high school thing don't worry about that........ i go to college and some of the guys and girls act like they shouldn't be outta daycare

Your a female, so even though you are 18 months younger than him you're probably three years ahead of him when it comes to mental maturity. I can say that because I am a man.

Stop competing. That way he will realise that you are really above him. When time passes, shove it back in his face & let him know that he is in fact less mature & he needs to grow up. His ego will take a knock if you tell it to him in front of people. That will make him change quickly.

boys often take alot longer to mature than girls also it could be an ego thing just talk to him and tell him that he is making feel like a child and that you could understand if there was a large age gap but there isnt if he still continues then he is too imature and i would dump him!!
