Last night at around 9 pm I smelled something burning in our appartment hallway. I went outside, following the smell, to find two guys putting out a fire in our bush. Here's the thing, nobody in our building smokes but one lady and these two guys who came to her house. We have had several run ins with this woman because she has a 3 year old who just runs wild and has even thrown a hunting knife into our yard among other things, so she is some all kind of piece of work. I asked the guys what happened and they say, with cigarette hanging out of mouth, "we don't know the fire just suddenly started". I got my husband and our neighbor who's 7 month old's room is right next to the bush that was on fire, and they came out and looked around for the source and found it to be a cigarette. We called the police, but we couldn't prove it was them. I'm really sick of this woman and her boyfriends and she's married with her hubby in Iraq at the moment. Do you think one of them was guilty?

At this point this woman has admitted everything from sleeping pills to not controling her son. She has had at least 3 different men over, last night two at once, since her husband deployed. I can't believe that she is that inconsiderate! At this point I'm not putting anything past her.

I think they are probably pretty guilty, but until you can come up with better evidence or another issue to press against them you can't really do much. You might be able to hotline them with social services as far as the treatment of their kids goes though.

The 2 guys were being smart with you they knew they had started the fire. As for this woman she sounds like she is into doing drugs and she is an unfit mother. You should call child services and have her investigated.

Try setting up a cam corder connected to a VCR on super low speed, swap out tapes at the end, if nothing is of interest when reviewing that tape rotate it after the next one runs out, this will build your case if in fact she or they are pushing your buttons.

They probably did it but like you said hard to prove it, sounds like a person not to be friends with or be around, better keep a eye on her just be carefull

I think I would considering moving... for my own safety and peace of mind......
If she can't control herself, how would she ever control her child..
She is setting the example and as you know it is not good... Poor kid..He doesn't have a chance....This could very easily escalate and someone could get hurt.....
Yes, I think one of them did it.... it is quite obvious....People who have no control of their lives, find others like themselves to be around them.......
Move to a safer place........
