Dems promise amnesty in exchange for votes?

Question

Dean and many others in the Democrat party are offering to give amnesty to illegals if the hispanics help them win this election.

I am not sure if there is something illegal in this offer. I do know if you believe in polls, 75% of Americans are against amnesty so it seems that this offer of amnesty is wrong.

Should the Dems have a majority in Congress if they promise one group of people something America does not want?

Should the Dems have any seats at all for selling America to the highest bidder?

This offer to sell out Americans for votes makes me angry and I do not think I can support any Democrat again.

Yes.. that is exactly what the democrates are doing and 90% of the naive Americans do not realize it. They do not realize that the Mexicans will vote for those individuals who promise amnesty for the Mexicans but eventually.. the Mexicans will kick out the American politicians and form their own party that will control in the United States. I have always said this.. This below is an article that I wrote for the Letters to the Editor here.

If the Mexican Government, Pres. Bush, John McCain, Janet Napolitano and other left wingers get their way, a third political party will continue to be formed in the U.S. No, I am not talking about the Independent Party. I am referring to a third party possibly named “The Chicano Party”. This group is and has been pushing for an amnesty program that will legalize the 20 million illegals presently in the U.S. (not the 12 million that the Government wants you to believe). When this occurs, each illegal will be allowed to bring in all their extended family members to become citizens swelling the Latino voting members of this country to well over 150,000,000. In view that this is a very calculated effort by Mexico and left wingers in this country to take over the country, they would all be dictated to vote for their candidate wherever and for whatever position that person is a candidate for. This has already happened in most cities and towns all along the border and now being poised to stretch out throughout the U.S. The success depends on the acceptance of the amnesty program that is presently being pushed by Arizona Governor Napolitano, Senator John McCain, President Bush and quite a number of other pro-Mexican politicians at the Washington and states’ level.

I totally disagree with you on calling this a plan of left wing dems and to refer to george Jr. , an mccain as left wing . nothing could be further from the truth . lets not forget that it was a repub prez reagan who opened the flood gates to illegal imagration . the main purpose of this was to provide a large body of cheap labor to break the unions and destroy the middle class . its been a race to the bottom since . how low will we go on wages before the american people figure it all out . the mantra of the ruling republa cons is cheap labor , take the low wages that i offer or I'll close the factory and send your job else where the ruling repubs have done nothing for the american people for the past 6 years . , every piece of legistion to come out of the repub congress has been to protect and grant more power and benifits to the corporations

Ask Bush why enforcement of illegal worker laws dropped to a trickle during his administration. He already made the deal you're talking about, he jst made it with the employers instead of the workers.
20 years agao there were over 100,000 workplace arrests of illegals in the US. 2 years ago there a few HUNDRED! Is that becuase thye couldn't find them? Or other priorities?

I'm glad you are seeing through them. What else would you think of a party that is not willing to fight for our way of life, that lies, cheats, steals, commits adultery, child molestation, imbezzles, and probably every known evil there is? They willingly risk our safety and well being to make political points to get votes.
